What makes it special
Epsom salt, also known as magnesium sulphate, is valued in horse care for its natural anti-inflammatory and drawing properties. It helps draw impurities such as infections or abscesses out of the hoof while reducing swelling. The magnesium content also contributes to muscle relaxation and makes it ideal after training or for tension.
The poultice form enables simple and targeted application so that the active ingredients can work optimally on the affected area. Whether for hoof care or muscle regeneration, it is a simple and effective solution valued by riders and professionals.
Application
Apply directly to the area to be treated, such as muscles, joints or tendons. Massage in gently to promote relaxation and support the effect. Repeat as needed. The area can be covered with cotton or a bandage to improve the effect.
To drain a hoof abscess apply the poultice to frog or sole and bandage well. For optimal results use in combination with our Vetcoflex Wrap 82237 or our hoof boot 62114.
